The Garden waste collection service is for residents of Uttlesford only and will cost £46 for 2020/21. The service starts on 1 April 2020 and ends on 31 March 2021. If you are a new customer you will need to pay a one-off fee of £22.50 for a garden waste bin.
There is a discount of £6 if you pay by direct debit, making the cost of the service £40. If you wish to pay using this method, you'll need to send us a completedby 13 March 2020.
If you receive Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) you will be eligible for a 25 percent reduction on the service charge. You will need to provide your claim number, if you are unsure of this please call 01799 510510.
You can sign up using our online form. At the end of the form you'll find instructions on how to pay.
You will be receiving a renewal letter in the post detailing the service costs and instructions of how to make your payment for the service for 2020-21.
If you currently pay by annual direct debit
The service will automatically be renewed and payment will be taken on 15 April 2020 from the bank account you have previously provided details for.
If you want to change your payment method to annual direct debit
Please complete and return anbefore 1 March 2020, payment will then be taken on 15 April 2020.

If you are one of the lucky winners drawn, then your subscription for the year will be refunded. The final entry date is 31 March 2020, so get your entries in.
Alternatively, we can send you a paper entry in the post, or you can visit the Council Offices at London Road, Saffron Walden or at our Customer Service desk at the library, Great Dunmow to complete a paper version.
