New repairs and and maintenance contractor

Uttlesford District Council has appointed a new contractor to carry out the repairs and maintenance of its properties.

From 12 July 2019, Porterhouse Building & Fire Solutions Ltd will be contracted to carry out all aspects of the maintenance and improvements of the council's properties, which includes providing a day-to-day repairs service for tenants.

Tenants should be advised that outstanding requests for property repairs will be carried out by the new contractor. Requests that have been made for emergency repairs will be prioritised.

To report a repair issue, please continue to contact the council in the usual way by calling the Customer Services Centre on 01799 510510.
